How alternative name suggestions work

When you unlock a full report, BrandScreen includes a set of alternative name suggestions — useful when your first choice is crowded, or when you just want options.

These aren't random. Each suggestion is pre-screened across the same core checks — trademarks, domains, and handles — so the availability you see next to each one reflects real lookups, not guesses. The idea is to point you toward names that are actually clearable, rather than ones that only sound good.

How to use them:

  • Treat them as starting points. If one catches your eye, run a full screening on it to get the complete picture and its own Brand Score.

  • They're especially handy when a name you love is blocked on one dimension (say, the .com is gone) and you want close alternatives that aren't.

  • Want more, or more tailored options? The AI Name Generator lets you describe your idea and get a fresh, pre-screened set.

As always, an available suggestion is a strong starting signal — run the full screening before you commit.
